Cognitive Tango ("we", "us") is a personal wellness app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are. Plain English, no tricks.

What we collect

• Account info — your email address and (optionally) display name when you sign up.
• Wellness data you log — mood check-ins, sleep, hydration, habits, CBT entries, finance entries, etc. Only what you choose to log.
• Authentication — Supabase manages sign-in tokens. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and a unique account ID — never your Google password.
• Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number.

How we use it

• To run the app: render charts, calculate streaks, sync between your devices.
• To process payments and provide entitled features (e.g. Founding Member access).
• To send you transactional emails (sign-in, magic links, receipts).

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't share it with advertisers or third-party trackers.
• We don't read your CBT thought records or mood notes for any purpose.

Where it's stored

Wellness data lives in two places: locally on your device (so the app works offline), and — if you sign in — in a Supabase Postgres database in the United States. Row-level security ensures only you can read your own rows.

Your rights

• Export — Settings → Export your data downloads a full JSON backup.
• Delete — Email hello@cognitivetango.com and we'll wipe your account and all associated data within 30 days.
• Correct — You can edit anything you've logged from inside the app.
